Message from your President

As we start a new year with the OGSA, I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the incredible success of the 2025 Turfgrass Management Conference. It was truly inspiring to see 565 members come together—an energizing start to the year and a true reflection of the strength and engagement of our community.
Looking ahead, your Board is committed to carefully evaluating our growth and ensuring we build the right foundation before continuing to expand. This means strengthening our governance practices, refining our infrastructure, and enriching the programs and services our members rely on. As we grow, we want to grow with intention—solidifying what we have, identifying opportunities for improvement, and creating long‑term stability for the future.
We are fortunate to have a strong and collaborative Board, and together, we will continue to move the OGSA forward with purpose and integrity.

On behalf of the entire OGSA, we look forward to serving our members in 2026 and building on the momentum we have created together.

Our membership consists of golf course superintendents, assistant superintendents, students, educators, golf course suppliers, owners, and architects.

The OGSA was formed in 1924 to benefit superintendents in Ontario by providing its membership with:

    • Industry news & up-to-date information on navigating the challenges facing golf course personnel
    • Formal education opportunities & resources
    • Networking opportunities & resources to stay connected
    • Recognition for their efforts & accomplishments in turfgrass management
