Jared Reinders

Jared Reinders is the General Manager at R&M Construction. He began his career with the company 15 years ago as a general labourer, gaining hands-on experience in field operations before advancing through roles as an estimator and project manager. Jared earned a Business Management Diploma from Fanshawe College, complementing his field knowledge with strong leadership and organizational skills. Jared’s diverse experience across multiple roles in the environmental construction industry has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of waterway restoration, erosion control, and sound environmental construction practices.

Session Summary

In this session, Jared Reinders, Mike Kuipery and Tim Koen will share practical insights into how Ontario golf course superintendents can work successfully in and around regulated watercourses. Drawing on years of experience collaborating with Conservation Authorities, engineers, and course managers, they will clarify the permitting process, explain the relationship with Conservation Authorities, and outline how to plan maintenance or construction work to minimize or avoid emergencies.

Attendees will learn how to identify when they need to call their regulatory body, understand the priorities of regulators, and hear about current design/construction trends in the creek restoration industry.
