James Beebe
Retired Golf Course Manager, Priddis Greens
James Beebe is a graduate of Seneca College and Penn State University and recently retired after 30 years as the Golf Course Superintendent at Priddis Greens Golf & Country. James led and collaborated with many outstanding teams, achieving significant milestones such as hosting three Canadian Women’s Opens, including an LPGA major. He oversaw numerous successful golf course renovations, built nine new holes and helped Priddis Greens become synonymous with excellence. Throughout his career, James mentored numerous team members who have gone on to build successful careers in golf course management. He is a lifetime member of the AGSA, CGSA, and the GCSAA. James has served as President of both the AGSA and CGSA and is a proud recipient of the AGSA Distinguished Service Award and the CGSA Superintendent of the Year Award. Like many in the Golf Course Management industry, James has faced and overcome various challenges throughout his career. The knowledge and experience gained from both the challenges and accomplishments is the foundation for the next phase. In the second phase of his career, James is now providing leadership coaching and mentoring for individuals and teams in the golf industry, while partnering with Golf Course Architect Wade Horrocks, providing Agronomic and Project Management services.
