Billy Joe Carey

Billy Joe has been active in the golf course industry for over 20 years. Born and raised in Cape Breton,  he began his career on the grounds team building Taboo Golf Course in Gravenhurst, ON, following the grow in he returned home to Cape Breton to work at Bell Bay Golf Club and attend school. After graduating he returned to Taboo attaining a management position as assistant superintendent.

He graduated from the Turf Management program at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College and also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cape Breton University. In 2009, Billy Joe transitioned to an agronomic sales position representing various fertilizer portfolios and subsequently joined Belchim Turf Protection in 2017 as a technical representative servicing Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
